DEMAND RESPONSE

RABA's demand response transportation service provides curb-to-curb transportation for individuals who, because of a disability, are not able to utilize a regularly scheduled fixed route bus service.

Demand Response Bus Curb-to-curb service means that the vehicle will be at the curb of the pick-up point at a prearranged time. The rider does not have to be standing at the curb, but should be in a location that allows him/her to see the vehicle when it arrives. The rider should be able to travel to the vehicle under his/her own power. At that point, the driver will assist the rider into the vehicle.

If the rider does require more assistance, an attendant may ride free. Arrangements can be made on a case-by-case basis for those persons requiring extra assistance.
