HOW TO RIDE
Riding the bus is easy. But, like the first time for anything, it is not unusual to be a little unsure. Please don't be nervous! We're glad you're riding with us and are happy to help.
Bus stops are located at approximately one-quarter mile intervals along each route and are identified by a RABA sign.- At the bus stop, check the sign to make sure you are standing at the correct location. The sign should show the routes that serve that stop, as well as destinations along that route.
- Each route has a series of timepoints to indicate where a bus should be at the scheduled time. RABA makes every effort to be on time, but occasionally the bus encounters traffic congestion. This may influence the schedule, and it is possible a bus could run late.
- Please have the exact fare ready. Drivers can not make change.
- Drop your fare in the farebox as you board.
- If you make a zone change to reach your destination, tell the bus driver your destination and drop your additional zone fare in the farebox.
- If you need to transfer to another bus to reach your destination, request a free transfer slip at time of boarding.
- Select a seat and relax. For your safety, remain seated until the bus comes to a complete stop.
- Fold-up seats and seats directly behind the driver are intended for seniors and passengers with disabilities. Please be prepared to relinquish on request.
- Approximately two blocks before your stop, use the signal device near the window to alert the driver. The driver will stop at the next designated stop. Move to the back of the bus and use the rear door to exit.
- If you are unsure of any part of your trip, including your return trip, just ask the driver.

Timepoints
Timepoints are those bus stops where a bus should be at that designated time. This allows for a rider to gauge where the bus should be along the route. Times are not provided for all stops as the bus may encounter traffic congestion, loading or unloading challenges, or some other obstruction along its route. These encounters and/or obstructions influence the schedule, and it is possible that buses could run late.
Not all streets are shown on the maps. Just find the street closest to you to see which bus you need.
Holidays
RABA will not be operating on the following Holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
